A pacific northwest afternoon had me in its gray grip, I was feeling disenchanted and can’t say for sure why. But I became obsessed with extrapolating everything I could from a tiny, minimal fragment of an idea. A voice murmured firmly in the wind: 'endure...you have to endure!'
